Before You Submit

Deriva exhibits digital art in its many forms. Please read the scope below before submitting — it takes two minutes and helps us both avoid a mismatch.

What We Exhibit

  • Generative and code-based art (Processing, p5.js, custom software)
  • Digital video and motion work
  • Digital photography — images conceived and produced as digital work
  • Augmented and virtual reality
  • Vector-based and computational art
  • Sound and audiovisual work built with digital or generative tools
  • AI-assisted art, where the artist directs a clear creative process
  • On-chain / blockchain-native work (Tezos, Ethereum, Bitcoin Ordinals, etc.)

What We Don't Exhibit

  • Photographs or scans of physical sculpture, blacksmithing, ceramics, or metalwork
  • Documentation of paintings, drawings, or traditional fine art
  • Architectural photography or renders of physical buildings
  • Physical craft work whose only "digital" element is the photo used to upload it

Exception: if a physical work has a digital or AR layer that is essential to experiencing it — not just a photo of a finished object — it may still be a fit. Explain this clearly in the form below.

Every submission is reviewed personally. If your work is a fit, we'll follow up directly to discuss next steps.

Please keep each file under 5MB and the total submission under 8MB — compressed JPEGs and a short PDF work best. If selected, we'll request full-resolution files separately.
