Statement

"To drift is not to wander without intention; it is to follow the logic of the territory."

Deriva takes its name from the Situationist concept of the dérive — a purposeful drift through space guided by the environment's own signals. Here, that environment is digital. The artists we represent work with systems, code, image, and signal to produce works that feel inevitable, organic, discovered.

Curatorial Statement

"Deriva presents artists across the full spectrum of digital practice — code, image, body, space — and the languages they generate together."

Founded by LUANOTX.curates, Deriva is an online gallery for digital art in its many forms — generative work, video, digital photography, augmented and virtual reality, vector, sound, and computational practice. The gallery also presents pop-up exhibitions in physical space, bringing its programme to partner venues internationally. Works exhibited at Deriva are held exclusively by the gallery.
